Nefel Tellioğlu is a PhD student at the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Dr Nic Geard, Dr Rebecca Chisholm, and Dr Mark Davies. Her research involves developing and using data-informed models to understand the epidemiology of infectious dis-eases, and to compare efficacy of surveillance strategies and public interventions. Her current research focus is on Group A Streptococcus transmission in Australian Indigenous populations and scabies transmission in Liberia.
